gochefs
Anyone have ideas on how to fix headphone jacks. I have a pair of Sony MZ-r700's that have shorts in the headphone out.You have to push down slightly on the jack with the headphone in to get any sound. I've heard of this problem on many of the used units posted on Ebay and I'm wondering if there's an easy fix by opening it up or something? Thanks. Secondly I have another unit that works fine with the adapter, but is now iffy with batteries. Shutting down suddenly when running on battery supply. Any thoughts? Any thoughts?Hey gochefs, Unfortunately I cannot answer your question, but i can sympathise with you!I have the same problem with a MZ-R55. The headphone socket only plays through one earphone channel unless pushed in.What do you mean by shorts?I also am having probs playing from battery, i recently bought a new one on the cheap, gonna givet hat a go tonight. Hope it fixes the problem.I would also like to know if this is easily fixable.Ben
