ryanyan
Hello everybody, I have a problem with my Sony N10. the quality of the songs imported to my md is not good. Many songs are choppy while playing. I borrowed one recorded disk from my friend, it plays quite well while my disk is also choppy in his player. Does any expert know the reason? A440
Try transferring songs with no other programs running. Sony's programs need a lot of resources.

gigolo
Have you any program running in background (like antivirus with file access protection) ?Is your hard disk well defragmented ?How much cpu and ram usage do you get in Windows Tasks Manager ? A440
If you only have the basic 128MB of memory in that computer, you're on the low side of the requirements but you should be able to squeak by. Do you have 200MB of free hard-drive space? Also, are you running from one USB port or a multiple USB hub? It's important to be running through a single USB port.
