Ross_Mann
Hi guys!I just recently purchased an ipod shuffle 512mb. It is ok. I want somthing like a netmd MZ-E410 highspeed player. Only $50 on amazon.com it is all I really want to spend. I hear MD's have awesome sound quailty. 5 hours of music per 80 min MD disc. And not to mention they have a screen (small but still). Everyone in my Tech class have them, and love em'. I can use my ipod shuffle as a 512mb jump drive. I will still use it from time to time. I love the fact that 1 AA battery lasts for an outstanding 56 hours. I hear they are built well also. I cannot wait to get one!
Clocker
you bought an ipod shuffle? Why?
zerodB
Thanks for the usless comment Clocker.Note that an E410 is a "download-only" unit - you can only put music on the unit via the PC. Other MD units have line in and even mic in jacks. Be advised that you can't put MP3 tracks on your unit - well, you can, but they have to be converted into ATRAC (the Minidisc format) first. Fat Tires
The 5 hours of music per 80min disc on the NE410 is actually pretty low quality. You'd be much better off sound quality wise if you bought the NH600D from eBay or a place like that. For about $60 you'll get the abilty to get better quality sound, plus 10 hours per disc with Hi-LP.
