Stops Playing After 25 Seconds

When playing tracks on my computer from the OpenMG playlist, it stops playing after 25 seconds. I can fast forward past 25 seconds, but it still stops after the track has actually played 25 secs. The MD player will play the tracks as usual. I've been using this software for a few years, but this problem started after installing the program on a new Dimension 8400. There are no error messages. It behaves exaclty as if I hit STOP. Sony techs had no clue. Tried reinstalling, no change. Any suggestions?

yes, i read the pinned topics. i installed the program on a new computer, so its running XP and hopefully virus free, 3.2GHz, 1GB DDR, OpenMG version 2.2. I've done a complete uninstall/reinstall twice. Everything else about the program works fine. I can let i playback up to 23 seconds then use the slider to fast forward (or rewind) and it will continue playing for 25 more seconds until stopping. Is there some timer or preveiew setting or something??? I couldn't find it, nor the sony techs.

Not trying to be harsh, just firm so you understand - my main intent is to help, remember this. If you read the pinned topics, you would see that we don't support OpenMG anymore. You need to uninstall via the directions in the FAQ and download Sonicstage 3 from connect.com, as it is a much better experience.
