domeasour
I know that there are many users out there that have this horrible problem. Updating SonicStage Database. Please Restart....blah blah" I spoke to Sony Support all the way up to engineering level and the only solution to the problem was, "reinstall windows"...that is F$#&ed up!! As it seems one of the possible ways to get this bug is to do a system restore. Now, i have tried every way to get around this problem using many of the guides on this and other forums. With no avail i completely uninstalled SS (from the registry too) and decided to install directly from Sony. the problem is that the OpenMG Secure Module is corrupted from sony. I have downloaded it several times and i still get this error while its installing.I have a Sony MZNH600DWin XP Home Edition SP1MDAC (latest)Jet Database (latest)and any other goddies this forum suggested"Internal Error 2718 {2F151B50-B434-4838-B51D-70442EBA093E}"does anybody have a solution to this? Also are there any substitutions to SS that can transfer files? Christopher
Welcome. This is already covered in the pinned topics @ the top of the forum, but the first thing I would recommend is the installation of Service Pack 2. Also, what version of Sonicstage are you using? iddqd
You need to remove sonicstage & simple burner with its folders (search all sony folders on your computer & delete all of them)XP has a repair installation, you need to try this. it will take maximum 2 hours of your time. and you will not lost anything on currently xp.Upgrade your motherboard drivers, update MDAC & JET from microsoft.comDownload latest windowsmediaplayer. Because it will upgrade your audio & video codecs & system dlls.Ok. Just try.You can download it manually here: SP2.←
