dex Otaku
I see a few recordings in the archive already that are from groups that I seriously doubt allow live taping, let alone redistribution of personal tapings. Please note that the administrators and staff of this board will not be held responsible for any copyright violations incurred by our users. You are responsible for what you upload. Please make sure that you have permission to post recordings before doing so. Some bands have clear taping policies that allow "bootlegs" to be distributed without legal consequence [unless sold, at least].If you are unsure of the copyright status of your recordings, either:* check with the band themselves, or* check with the band's publicist, publisher, and/or record labelMost band's publicists or publishers can be found through their record label, if they are carried by a label. Smaller labels often are the publishers and publicists as well.If in doubt, check first. Copyright violations such as posting unpermitted live recordings can carry heavy financial penalties, as well as the possibility of jail terms.Again - you are responsible for what you upload.
