grimpenguin
I recently purchased a Sony MZ-S1 off of eBay and am having trouble with writing discs. I have tried MD Simple, OpenMG, and the plugin for Real Player. After I write the tracks to the minidsic, the player's display shows the rack name as if it is on there, but when I play it I get no sound. If I eject the disc and put it back in, the display tells me the disc is blank. I got these discs from a friend and suppose they might be bad, but before I go buy some new ones I just wanted to see if anyone had encountered a similar problem before. When he gave me the discs they had music on them and I could hear them fine.
Guest NRen2k5
It's not the discs. It's the recorder. The MO block on your recorder is dead and you can probably play but not record at all.
bobt
Could also be that the wires to the record head are broken. If you have a Sony dealer around it may be worth your while to take it in and have them go over your unit.Good luck,Bob
