banjokeith
Does anyone know of a MiniDisc player that can be controlled via footswitch? I would ideally like something more than just stop/start (ie, ability to scroll through tracks as well). I am already set up with a MIDI controller, so one that is MIDI-equipped would be great. I've searched all over and can't seem to find anything! Any ideas?Any help or guidance is MUCH appreciated!-Keith
A440
The only remote controls for Hi-MD are the little handheld ones. Sony is not big on interoperability.
zerodB
You could always custom build your own remote control footswitch you know - the remotes work simply by applying a resistance across two of the terminals...
KJ_Palmer
The Sony 'business' machines MZ-B10, MZ-B100, etc. can be controlled by a Sony FS85B50 footswitch... That includes stop/start and FF/RW control (for playback)... Unfortunately the footswitch jack utilises the remote/headphone jack which cuts out the internal speaker, but you can use heapdhones or an external speaker...
