Whats Wrong With The Mz-n510

Hello, I have a chance to buy a used MZ-N510 but I have found several problems:

1) All my discs are recorded on MDS-JB940 deck

2) any disc inserted into portable MZ-N510 is scanned for the very long time (approx 30-60 seconds with permanent head seekeing sad.gif ). All my discs are plain CD copies, so no fragmentation or TOC mismatch...

3) After initial seek&scan the first track is buffered for approx 15 second, then it plays OK and the motor stops (this is the only one moment I think is OK, the G-protection should work this way...)

4) Skips between tracks are almost impossible, >>! and !<< takes sometimes only 15 seconds to buffer, sometimes a minute or two of permanent seeking again...

Is this normal (are the seeking times so long on this portable units...) or is there

something wrong??

Or could my original MDS-JB940 be wrong and produce damaged discs? But itself it can read and seek them in milliseconds....

Many thanks

David
