ronil [mz nh1] Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 hi, i am new to using md's, i recently bought the nh1 and am wondering about using ss3. are there any problems when simply upgrading from ss2 to ss3? jadeclaw Posted May 8, 2005 Report Share Posted May 8, 2005 Yes, it the NH1 is supported.Backup your Library first, which should be done regularly anyway.Second, make sure, that on all albums the 'MyCompilation'-checkbox in the properties is unchecked,third, make sure, that the 'source'-column of all tracks contain the name of the album the tracks are in (usually the case, when ripped from CD).That saves you sorting the tracks later, as SS3 completely changes the way 'MyCompilation'-albums are handled.Luckily, you have to do it only once, after that, you will find, that the whole sorting is done more logically.
