rmfabs80
I was wondering. Since the Rh10 is similar in style to the Rh910 and the 910 headphones plug directly into the minidisc player, can you bypass the remote that comes with the Rh10 and plug the headphones directly into the unit?I dont want to break anything if you cant, but it looks like it could work. Plus you can do everything you need to operate the MD player directly on the main unit itself. So you dont really need the remote.Reason Im asking is Im looking for the best method to use the md player in my car without having all the extra wires dangling from the unit. What I want to do is connect a Belkin FM transmitter to the Rh10 without having to connect the remote. The Transmitter is pluged in to the unit through the headphone jack.
Zappa
Yeah, you don't have to use the remote.
KJ_Palmer
You might want to turn off the EQ settings on your RH10 and maximise the volume to simulate a flat line out - unfortunately there's no 'lineout' mode on this unit. This should gve you the best sound quality through your FM transmitter/car speakers...
