petertkalec
Wouldn't it be great if there were a right-click send-to option that converted your files, transferred them to your MD, and then deleted the temp (omg) files? Since there are unlimited checkouts, this wouldn't violate any DRM functions that SS uses now, it would just make life easier. Even if it were a script that opened SS, imported the selected files, transferred them to your MD, cleared the DB, and deleted the omg files. Is that easy to do? I've never done any windows scripting...Anyhow, I'm just like everyone else: love MD, hate SS.
zerodB
It is already possible in SonicStage (V3.1) to only keep the OpenMG (*.oma) files temporarily. It will delete the OpenMG files once your music has been transfered to your disk. The disadvantage is that files will need to be converted every time, but you save disk space, and on a fast computer, the extra time it takes is minimal. So that solves part of your problem. As for the rest, it could be possible to do a script, but not through any common interface. You'd probably need to program an application that would achieve this simply by sending key-strokes to SonicStage - a convulated way of going about this at best...
