pirate uk
If you have just tried to use sonic stage for the first time, then you have probably less hair than before you started, this is to be expected.Unfortunately, no its not a joke, this really is what Sony call software, and no it doesnt get any better all by itself, and you did "get it right" they DO NOT want you to freely record between pc and MD, and this is not a nightmare, its really happening to you right now.................Oh did it just crash your computer, what a surprise, it only does that to everyones PC, those that are who can ever get it to install, you will find your registry compleatly rewritten, so dont even dream of uninstalling it without everything else on your PC...............................What no.................did it just crash your system again? Some of the software you can download for free on the net, contains viruses, sometimes mail ware spyware, sometimes its mickymouseware, other times it just plain doesnt work. But if I had downloaded this from even the worst site I would still be angry, but no I PAID MONEY FOR IT.Im taking mine back to the shop for a refund.I have always loved MDs and tell everyone to buy them, but this sonic stage thing is a bad joke. pirate uk
I havent had programs crashing my system since the 90's, and thats when I think they wrote this cripe.Have you ever seen such a micky mouse app. ?The units also..... are not what I expect from a japanese company, but then looking at the bottom I find "made in china", if I wanted "made in china" I would have bought an Alba or some such. They clearly think they are in a position to just lord it over the consumers or something, well they came unstuck with me, as I just microwaved the thing and took it back to the shop. I don't hear many people complaining about the newer versions of Sonicstage. It seems to work quite well and be much more stable than the older (before 2.0) versions. What version are you (or were) using?
pirate uk
Funny,. I don't hear many people complaining about the newer versions of Sonicstage. It seems to work quite well and be much more stable than the older (before 2.0) versions. What version are you (or were) using?←V2..Maybe its the unit, not much build quality.Anyhow I have done away with the thing now. I will stick to using my old units, if I have to use the headphone socket to make recordings, whats the point in plugging a PC into the equation? Or to put it another way, If all I wanted to do was record CDs to MD, I could use the optical lead for 5 bucks, why spend 500 ?Im happy to spend the money if it did what it should do, it doesnt. KrazyIvan
That is odd. I started in MD before there was NetMD capable units. I saw as a plus. It was nice to have the option to record quickly via USB rather than optical. I still use the optical out on my Sony ES deck to record to my R900. I then title the disc using a 600D. Works quite nicely if not a little bit slower.
