KiLLamangiro Posted May 25, 2005 Report Share Posted May 25, 2005 I have a Sharp MT270 Portable MD Recorder, and I'm having a problem with the protection feature. Firstly, I tried to record to a minidisc, but when I pushed the record button "PROTECTED" came up on screen and I couldn't do it. I tried afterwards to edit the name of a track, but the same thing happened. I tried on several tracks, then took it out and made sure the protection tab wasn't pulled across. It wasn't, but I figured that it may have been the MD itself there was a problem with. I tried it with several more MDs, but the same thing is happening, with the tab pulled across and with the tab open simply to make sure. This is strange because previously it worked perfectly, and I could edit in any way with no problems. Anyone got any idea how to fix this?
