Md To Pc Transfer

I own a MZ-NH1, I want to transfer the songs in my MD back into the computer is there any ways to do it I did some research didn't find a answer to my question. Please help me out, cause delete all the old songs into my MD, now I need it to transfer to my new mp3 player.

How did you transfer them into the NH1?

If you transferred them from another computer, then you can't. Digital Rights Management.

You could record them digitally as you play back--in realtime--with the TotalRecorder method. Look at this thread, search for "Paranoid":

A440: every attempt I've seen at copying anything written by computer to HiMD back to any installation of SS [including the one it originated from] simply erases the recording from the disc exactly like a "traditional" NetMD's check-in.

Edited previous post. Of course, if a copy is sitting in My Library it doesn't matter what happens to the disc.

You'd think that after 3 versions of SonicStage they might gray out that red arrow or put a warning. But not Sony....

I've seen SS 3.x warn, but only when you actually attempt the transfer. I don't recall if it was a sel-recorder track that was already uploaded or not .. part of my testing. I think I may have capped the warning and posted it here a while ago.

Yeah, you're right as usual Dex. It does warn if you try to send something back to My Library that isn't already there. Silly me to think that you were actually checking them out when SS is merely allowing you to copy them.

I do most of my CD-to-MD through SimpleBurner, and erase them off the MD when I want to change albums. Most of my back-and-forth traffic is among the many Untitled tracks uploaded from MD, so they apparently are still sitting in My Library somewhere.

The time-stamp on recent SonicStage versions helps a bit in finding them, but the older uploads await spring cleaning (and it's already summer).

I also mostly use SB now - mostly because you advised it [and were right about that]. SB itself is a near-perfect application at what it does. It has one purpose, and it does it well. I wish SS were like that, too, even if it has improved a lot.
