Internal speaker query

Hello,

I'm for an MP3 player and would like to know if there are any players out-there that have internal speakers? (the quality of the sound thro the loud-speaker isn't important)

I currently own a Sony-Ericsson K750i mobile phone with a 1mb memory card, I can play music on this over its built-in loud speaker, no cables. That is the kind-of function I am looking for in an MP3 player.

Any ideas?

I think there is no mp3 player with internal speaker as there is no demand for it.But u can add small external speaker such as Personal Active Speakers

SRS-M30,Personal Active Speakers SRS-A201,Stereo Speaker System

SRS-P11Q/LIV ,Passive Speaker System SRS-P11Q,Passive Portable Speaker System SRS-P7 ,Active Speakers SRS-A202 ,Compact Portable Speaker

SRS-T33 ,Folding Travel Speaker SRS-T57,Active Speakers SRS-A205 (u can also go for companies such as Panasonic,Philips etc.) they all cost different .They can be easily carried. But if u still able to find a player with internal speker then quality & relibality will not be there b`coz no big companies make mp3 with internal speaker for eg sony,panasonic,apple,philips,I-River,Creative etc..........

But tell us if ur able to find one..

The very best thing for this is the TDK IAM-A-SPEAKER! Its a small cd case with a flat speaker on one side and a small amplifier that uses 2Xaa batteries. They are dirt cheap these days, i got hold of heaps months ago and they went like hot cackes on ebay.

LOOK AT THIS

There are 2 models, mono and stereo, i recomend mono, the batteries last for months!!! stereo is quite large and takes more batteries.

These are bigger than I was hoping to have - not really pocket sized.

I have one of these, and it is very good but again, too big - I'm fussy! :ol_rolleyes:

That's what I was afraid of!

So it looks like I need to think of some other way.

Do you think it would be possible to dismantle an old mobile phone and use the speaker to create my own tiny speaker that I could then somehow connect to an mp3 player?

Thanks for your help so far

Yeah! It is possible to make ur own tiny speaker .Even small tiny speakers r available in the market. But the thing is u will need to cut ur headphones wire & need to join it with ur two wires of speakers or u can directly solder it to the speaker. This will make a mono one.But u will need to use it with care(I`m trying to say that it would not last for a long time).U will need to try but i`m not sure whether it will work or not. Some time back i also tried the same thing but success ratewas 50 % ONLY.I used the internal speaker of an old sony walkman(recoder one).
