semisonic69 Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 i recently got a Sony MD MZ-N420D and when i try to make a disc with the disc that came with it ss will only show the player is attached if there is no disc in it. so i put disc in and it wont show up itll just say to insert a disc. semisonic69 Posted June 13, 2005 Author Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 i plug the usb into the MD player then itll load and say insert blank disk, so ill put in the disk and ill just show the little disk spinning on the md player screen. im not sure what to do. and yes it is brand new. Ishiyoshi Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 It appears that your unit may have a bad optical block or either the blank disc is faulty. Please try another blank disc to be sure. KrazyIvan Posted June 13, 2005 Report Share Posted June 13, 2005 That or the disc is damaged. I had really bad luck with a batch of Fuji discs I bought at FYE. None of them worked on my 600D and only a few worked on my R900. My sharp would read them fine and one I formated them with the Sharp they would work in the other units.
