Sonicstage 3.3 corruption

I upgraded Sonicstage 3.2 to 3.3 and am using it with my PSP firmware 2.0. I have converted my lame -altpresetstandard mp3's to atrac3plus in the past just fine but now I am getting random songs that will play and skip to the next song somewhere in the middle of the file. When I go back to the song list, it shows corrupt data. I am using 96kbps atrac3plus. I tried transferring the original mp3 by drag and drop and used as many as I can fit with no problems, so I don't think it is the card. I tried to reinstall ver. 3.3 and re-transfer the songs but get the same result, corruption. Also, after I upgraded the file rights management was messed up and I couldn't edit some of the tag info (checkbox for compilation, for example) so I highlighted all tracks and removed them from the database and re-imported them and that seemed to work. Any ideas on what might be the problem? It sucks not knowing if the music you transfer will work or not. I debated reinstalling 3.2 but haven't done that yet and will have to find the installation file somewhere.

**Edit** I was reading the faq above about installation and saw a step or two I can try. Any other input appreciated!

I did a clean install according to the faq and it seemed to work. I transferred the albums back that I had a problem with before and am not having problems with the tracks that were messed up before. That's pretty funny because before I found this site I was thinking if I could do a manual uninstall and reinstall that might fix the problem.
