Chucky
Hi,Very new in the Forum, a bit confuse on how it works...Below I quote a post from KAPPA22 back in February, I have the same problem.I like to know if anyone else had the same trouble and was able to fix it.Lately I tried connecting with XP and SS3, no sign of shake hands until I connected the remote to the unit, at that stage SS3 was showing NETMD, I tried transfering songs without sucess, but could edit titles (disc and song). As soon as I disconnected the remote for the N10 the connection droped...Very strange indead. My MZ-N10 was ok few months ago on SS1.5 and Windows ME. Now, with that system it is not working at all . Thanks for readingChuckyIn beautiful Brisbane >Ok, this just started yesterday after 4 months of flawless usage. I have an MZ-N10, and when I connect it to my computer, it no longer recognizes the connection by turning on and displaying the little PC->->MD thing. Likewise, my computer doesn't recognize the connection either (in any of my USB ports), and the player doesn't show up in SonicStage (2.3) or the device manager. Then, when I disconnect the player, the little PC->->MD thing comes up and stays on no matter what I do (short of turning the battery off). It won't play or anything. If I try to reconnect it to the computer, the PC->->MD thing goes away and the normal display information comes up, and it plays normally WHILE connected to the computer. I'm wondering if there's some sort of hardware reset in the NetMD players that I can just do to completely reset it. At this point, any suggestions are worthwhile. Thanks a lot.<
