Joe Hendrix
Is the only way to get music onto my brand new HD3 (20 gig Network Walkman) is through SonicStage? I have had other MD players that let you use either SonicStage or Simple Burner, but when I tried plugging in my brand new HD3, and brought up Simple Burner, it didn't "see" the device. It's really gonna bum me out if I can't use Simple Burner, because that will mean I'll have to load my CD's first onto my hard drive before I can then burn it to this new device.HELP! Ishiyoshi
I believe it's possible to employ the VAIO Music Move/Music Transfer software that comes bundled with the VAIO Pocket. But then, you will still need to rip the tracks in question onto the HDD before you can transfer the files over to the HD3. If you are interested, please refer to the VAIO Pocket pictorial I have set up with the forum; and download the utility accordingly.

I'll have to make sure I have 20 gig on my computer free in order to load this new toy up.
andysnap
So... there is no update to Simple Burner which will communicate wiht the HD3? I'm stuck with filling up my hard drive with music files?←This is just what I've found with my new HD3. Not to be able to use Simple Burner with a multi Gb hard drive ATRAC player seems to me to be another of those examples of Sony's product madness, which lets the likes of Apple appear to be so much better sorted The speed and ease of CD transfer via Simple Burner was a major plus point with my new NH900.Come on Sony, get Network Walkmans on Simple Burner too!Andrew
