haiphan02
Does anyone have problem with SonicStage 2.1 ? Its going really slow whenever i transfer songs around 20 mins to transfer 600mb of mp3. and when adding cover albums it takes a few sec to for the "properties" menu to pop up. i know it sounds like just a few sec, but when you're uploading some 300 albums its going to suck in the long run. Thanks.
Christopher
Haiphan02, welcome to the forums. It'd be much better if you upgrade to Sonicstage 3.1.
bestillmyheart
I upgraded my SonicStage to 3.1 but I still find that it takes a while adding album art. It also takes a little while to transfer songs onto the pocket vaio, but i think i'm spoiled switching from itunes. Also, I don't know if it's just my program but when I try to convert an mp3 to an ATRACplus file...it freezes when the conversion window pops up and then it'll freeze my computer. Does anyone know what the problem is with this? I just want to try implementing the lyrics view and I hear that it'll only work with ATRAC files. Is there an easier way to convert? I think the pocket vaio itself is beautiful and am really happy with it, but it really is the SonicStage and the Music Move programs that kill it...so aggravating. And album arts is still slow as sh*t and almost to the point of crashing my system (AMD 64, 1GIG of RAM, 75gig raptor hd, and service pack 2). Anyone have any luck with lyrics view?Im going to reformat my system back to service pack 1 to see if its any better.
Christopher
That is the worst thing you can do in this scenario. Try optimizing your library in the settings. Additionally, please make a thread in the software forums for further support.Im going to reformat my system back to service pack 1 to see if its any better.←

Were you trying to attach Album cover to specific tracks of the same album or just an individual track? If you were trying to attach Album cover to a single album, you need only do it once and all tracks within the album will automatically display its respective Album cover when played with the VAIO Pocket. As for lyrics/liner notes, you will need to manually "copy-and-paste" the lyrics in question or just import the lyrics in question from a .txt file. --> right click on the music track in question --> properties --> lyrics/liner notes --> either "copy-and-paste" the lyrics in question or just import the lyrics in question from a .txt file.I am sorry that your experience was not as expected; but really, it is quite simple and it should not even crash your system as you have described. bestillmyheart
I know this maybe a stupid question and that it should be straight forward, but can someone please tell me how they usually convert their mp3 files to a regular ATRACplus file. I don't want to convert ALL of my mp3s to ATRAC, just some but I'm really confused on how to do that.
