Hi! I must admit that I am a very inexperienced Minidisc user. Today I

did an interview lasting several hours. Shortly before the end of the

Recording the Akku ran out and after a restart the whole recording was

gone. I suspect the equipment does not have written the "end tag" and

thus cannot find the recording which is actually htere. Because it was

noted. I use a Sony Recording MD Walkman MZ-R700. I think one would

have to manually set the end tag, however I have no idea how... or is

there an equipment that does read the data in such a waywithout seeking

the end tag? I hope anyone knows the problem, or better: the solution.

Thanks,

Daniel

ps.: i realized that there is a way to copy TOCs from one disk to another, using dirty TOCs (http://www.minidisc.org/cloning_procedure.html). Unfortunately I do not own the right player for that ( MDS-JE440, MDS-JE520, MDS-JE640, MDS-JB920, MDS-JB930, MDS-JB940, MDS-JE520, MDS-303 and MDS-503, MD-MSxxx class and MD-MT15), so is there anyone in the area of New York Ciy that might want to help out?

Or does anyone know a method that I can use with my MZ-R700?
