huynhj
Hi everybody,I have a mzrh10 and when I go to enter the Alphabet list to type the title of something, I can't see 3 characters to the right of the list. I have to move into the unknown area to the right of the list, just to get the following 3 characters of that row. Does anyone know how to configure this so every character shows up on the viewable screen?
sebastianbf
That is a problem with 2nd gen units. Sony is fixing this problem. Take a look at this post: http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=10434Search the forums for information about fixing it yourself by changing some configuration in service mode. I think that the best thing you can do is to send the unit for a firmware upgrade to a sony repair store. Hope that helpsSebastian

I've talked to an official Sony technician and I got the worst service possible from that guy. He said there's no way they'll fix it if there reported problems to Sony that this may be a factory defect. So I'm gonna post this problem on the sony web site right now! If you call sony, tell them that you want to speak with the customer service department. In the webpage that I post above, you can request for an exchange. In this page: http://esupport.sony.com/EN/feedback/feedback.html , you will be able to chat with some person at customer support. I think that they will know about the letters issue. (remeber to choose chat for portables)Tell me how are you doing with thisSebastian

But it doesn't tell me if I can exchange it anywhere or if I have to go back to the dealer. I bought this online so it would be a hassle to send it away again.
