Phoenix128zx
Hello Minidisc Lovers!!! I'm new to this forum, then don't hurt me if I post in the wrong section , but this seems to be the right section!!My problem is this:I have a old, but still perfectly functioning, Sony MZ-N505 NetMD, equipped with a 700mAh Ni-Cd battery( it live about a month!!!).Now I have buyed a new Ni-Mh 2500 mAh battery and I know that I can play music with them together, but my question is:Can I recharge that 2500 mAh Ni-Mh battery with the minidisc-self?I really love my minidisc and I can't imagine to lose it simply by bad recharging a battery!! I've seen many post of Hi-NetMD & Ni-Mh but none who speaks of the old NetMD!!!P.S. Excuse me for my bad english!!!
Christopher
Welcome to the forums. You should be fine, but just keep an eye on the battery. It's not uncommon for batteries to expand in size or become too hot when charging for extended periods of time, especially larger mAh batteries like this which would require a longer charge time. I would recommend an external charger, if possible.
Phoenix128zx
Thank you very much!!! I will use an external battery charger, even if it will take 31 hours to charge my battery!!! I can't lose my lovely NetMD!!!
