K Tm S Posted November 29, 2005 Report Share Posted November 29, 2005 help!i installed 3.3, and now i can't transfer tracks to my hd5. i went online to connect and made certain that my computer was authorized, and it is. when i go to device info, the option to authorize my device is greyed out.this is the same player and computer that i was using to transfer with a week ago... all i did was update sonic stage......thank you in advance for your reply! Guest Stuge Posted November 30, 2005 Report Share Posted November 30, 2005 Back up your data first using "SonicStage Backup Tool"I think the software you have installed has some component missing or something like that.So i will advice you to uninstall this version & install the software from the CD(ss ver 3.0 or 3.1) then again update your software to Sonic stage 3.3OR:You can do system restore (Select a date when your previous version of sonic stage was installed).Try again to update to sonic stage ver3.3 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
K Tm S Posted December 1, 2005 Author Report Share Posted December 1, 2005 thanks for answering... i tried all of those things and more... what a nightmare!unfortunately, i'm right back where i started. according to the help manual, i have to erase the entire drive and start over. unbelievable.i'm trying not to think about it too much, otherwise i think that i might start to regret the purchase of the NW-HD5.
