sman789
I recently bought a nw-e507 with SS 3.0I got SS working properly with two computers at home but i'm away for school and my desktop gives the "Updating Database" popup everytime in open SS.Yes, i've tried this http://www.atraclife.com/index.php?showtopic=6and the mdac install and the CSrepairMy latest attempt included deleting the program and the two openmg things with add/removethen physically removed everything that had "openmg", "sony", "sonicstage", "walkman" from my harddrive and registryI created a new user for XP and used that to install from the CD (i've tried over and over with the CD and 3.3 full install with my regular username)i still got the error, i used CSrepair after the first time i tried opening SS.I had a version of SS installed many months ago, could that be a problem.I also have a laptop for school and I got SS 3.3 installed and working but I have a problem installing the walkman, i get the "installation section" inf error...if someone could help me with that i'd appreciate it. I only need one capable computer so I can actually start using my player instead of listening to the same old music i put on during thanksgiving break. Guest Stuge
About second Queryi get the "installation section" inf error...if someone could help me with that i'd appreciate it.inf error means that either the drivers for nw-e507 has not correctly installed or they are corrput.Which OS you are using?Recommended to have windows xp(service pack 2)If you have saved your SONIC STAGEver 3.3 FILES THEN I WILLBE MUCH EASIERor download ssver 3.3 from Driver (Included in SonicStage 3.3)Install files from pa_driver[1] folder. As this will install drivers for your network walkmanor try to find that folder in Original ssver 3.0 cdEdit#2PA_Driver.exe ( 1.7 Mb ) Edited December 3, 2005 by Stuge
