djorkboy Posted August 10, 2005 Report Share Posted August 10, 2005 I did a search but only found one thread that might be a similar problem to mine, so here goes a new thread....I just installed Sonicstage 3.2 on my new laptop. Tried to transfer some tracks to my MZ-N10.The transfer gets to 95%, stops for about 5 seconds, then the old "ding dong" USB disconnect sound is heard as Sonicstage says "unable to transfer file". Then after a few more seconds the Windows USB connect sound is heard.I tried it on another computer and with a few different tracks and it's exactly the same. I remember this happening before but I don't remember how I fixed it.This is really getting on my nerves, please help me if you can. The only thing I can think of that might be causing this is the fact that I'm running the NetMD on batteries while trying to transfer and not on mains power, might this cause the issue?
