schicken_68
I have recently bought an MZ-NH600 after my MZ-N1 decided to stop recording. Had some trouble with the sonic stage supplied with the HiMD (the dreaded OMGJBOX.EXE error) and found this forum. Did as you suggested and uninstalled old sonic etc and downloaded and installed 3.2. Yay!!! I can burn minidiscs again!But.... my daughter liked the music she had put in her playlist that i turned into a minidisc and wanted to be able to play it on her mp3 cd walkman. I thought from all i had read here that i should be able to burn an mp3 cd for her and tried, but nothing happened. Sonic stage just hung there saying it was transferring the first song, but did nothing for over half an hour.I am running XP without any service packs on a computer with a 900mHz AMD processor, 512meg sdram. Not sure what codecs are. USB is 2.0. My mouse is a Microsoft optical wheel mouse and i think it is the only other thing i am using at the moment from a usb port. Don't know what else to tell you. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Christopher
Welcome. Update to Service Pack 2. There is no reason for anyone not to employ Service Pack 2, as the security risks you face without updating to it are too strong. What kind of anti-virus do you have, btw? I has a nasty experience after i installed service pack 2 last time - my computer kept shutting down while i was online and only behaved itself again after i formatted and reinstalled XP without updating with the service pack.
