SonicStage 3.2 and Chinese tracks

hey,

i am having troubles with putting tracks with chinese filenames onto NW-E507. i have read and followed the instructions mentioned in other threads regarding chinese/japanese titling etc. but it didnt work for me.

my OS is XP but in english. i dont have troubles encoding any chinese encoding tho.

i followed all the instructions with editing the registries but after importing the music onto Sonicstage 3.2 all the file names appear as "????" still. and even though the files appear to be imported, i cant play the files in SonicStage. i dont get any error msgs either.

could anyone pls help me? i want to be able to transfer chinese file named music onto my mp3 ToT

Yeah, that's what sucks with SS3.x. Luckily, you're using XP. Download a program called Applocale form Microsoft (just do a search on their main page), and run SS3.2 under applocale using Chinese setting.

Sony really needs to move SS to unicode.
