Problem: Importing Mp3 CD into SonicStage

I am trying to import around 150 MP3s from a CD with a mix of different songs. When I import the tracks into Sonic Stage 3, they get imported in a completely different order to what they were on the CD. Is there a way to keep this original order?

Note: Because by default, SonicStage sort music tracks by artist, tracks of the same album but with various artists will be placed as individual tracks. Thus, you will need to re-organize the tracks accordingly as outlined below.

To organize individual tracks of the same album: Ensure that you select "Tracks in the compilation albums" (within track properties) on the tracks in question. In addition, ensure that all the tracks of the same album have identical album title.

To import a specific album folder into SonicStage 3.2: File --> Import --> Scan Folder --> Select "Settings" --> Select the desired folder within the "Import Files" window.

Is there no way to import them just like they are????

I notice that with real player they keep the same order, but I dont know how to transfer them out to MD in LP4 on real player....

EDIT: So I guess now my question is: How do I transfer tracks in Real Player to LP4? since now it looks like this will be the easiest way to do it.

You can always re-tag the Mp3s (prior to the import task) so they all bear the same album name and designated track number according to your listening preference as before.

Try "Tag&Rename" or "The GodFather".

You could also burn the mp3's tp cd and simpleburn them onto MD

Ufff, yeah thanks for that. I ended up doing it this way, relabeling all the tracks as one album, then changing the track numbers to my order. I then imported them to a playlist and ordered them by track number. It's taken me a good part of the day to do this, after learning how to use tag & rename etc. And you wonder why there arent that many people getting into this whole minidisc scene anymore. If only Sony hadnt made up their own stupid format, minidiscs would be great. Thanks a lot for your help anyway...
