Hello everyone.

I am new here + have searched the forum so if I've missed something forgive me.

My Mz N710 (uk) has died. The morning after a night of normal use it just wouldn't work, no power-up, no error messages, no prior warning - nothing. After a day or too of trying to coax it back into life by removing the batteries a couple of hours at a time it powered-up and now gives a full readout but refuses to read any disc I insert- coming uo with a no disc message. Cross-referencing other stuff I've read here it sounds like the motor may be gone but I'd like to give a factory reset a try as a last resort. I've dll'd the service manual + entered service mode but don't know what to do next. I just want to default to the factory settings. How do I do this?

PS any other advice will be gratefully received - I don't have the cash for a replacement at the moment - the unit is only 20months old.
