catchmenow
Hi,It is true that you can get them from eBay, but not sure if all sellers can be trusted... Other options are (but much more expensive...around $50 for a brand new replacement battery in the US):- If you have Sony stores, like in North America, they should be able to help you order this item.- Also, it is possible to get them through Authorized Sony service/parts centers.Either way, I would recommend you check the UK Sony website for parts and accessories, and if you can not find anything there, then just e-mail, or even better, call them to have the info, these batteries are still available. As a matter of fact I just called them today (I mean in the US).Good luck,Stephan
rronaldson
$50 !! Ouch. I'm sure that the shop price will be much more expensive here in the UK as always seems to be the case. We do have a Sony shop here but they seem to be just selling the latest televisions and such like. Not much, well not any, minidisc on general sale in the area apart from blank discs. Ipod and mp3 players seem to have killed it off. Anyway I'm committed to the ebay purchases now which are considerably less than $50. Both sellers have good feedback so I'll keep my fingers crossed. Thanks for your interest Stephan.
