Verde
I have made some live recordings with my Sharp MD portable and I was thinking to buy a deck MD, probably Sony 780 or 980, so as to transfer the recordings to another media (cd or pc) and then work on them, but without loosing any of the original sound quality. Can this process be done via the usb port that these 2 devices have, or it's not possible as through a portable NetMD?
KJ_Palmer
^^No, unfortunately the USB port on the old NetMD units is one-way traffic only - from PC to MD, not the other way around. If you have an optical input on your sound card you could use the optical out on the JE780 or JB980 to record 'losslessly' to Wav etc. via some recording software on your PC. Or you could record analogue via line in but that's about it for your options..
