Question

Hi, I've opened my mail box today and what I see? Here is the email from Sony Europe saying: "As we value our customers and are always looking for ways to improve our products and services, we would very much like to hear your views."

So all I have to do now is click on the link to take part in customer survey, maybe that will be a time and a place to tell them something obout CONNECT software!!!

Ok, lets click. And here it comes... ...ERROR FOUND! :ol_lol::ol_lol::ol_lol:

Well done Sony!

Sony doesn`t want to listen anything about Connect....(Just kidding )

Many people might have been taking part in that customer survey ...To share there commnets on Connect ....So Sony Server might be down at that time

try again..

I have just got my NW-A3000 and when looking at the purple box (not allowed to open it yet) found something that I thought was rather funny and typical of Sony to get round the poorness of the Connect software. Im sure you have already read it, but here goes:

"We do not ensure trouble free operation on all computers that satisfy the system requirements."

:ol_rolleyes: Classic.

Hi Guys.

I sent a complaint to Sony regarding the software they had shamefully bundled with the A3000 and all i got was a reply stating that i should apply the patch. I mailed them back and saying that the version i was using was the patched version but i'm still awaiting a reply atm.

I sure hope somebody comes up with an alternative to Sony's Connect software that includes all the functions and dosn't put my PC in a go slow for hours. I have finally managed to get the files on the player using Connect but it is now 3 days after i began attempting it. This cant be good for the average non-technical types who expect things to work instantly.

I did read somewhere that it was possible to add music to the player useing the RealPlayer with appropriate codec installed but cant remember where i saw it... Anybody else have any clue if this works and how?

I must admit thought that this is the Best MP3 Player i have used to date and that list includes iPods and Creative players. It is also the best looking.
