Hi,

I have been using minidiscs for the past 7 years or so and am currently enjoying my mz-nh800.

However, in my search for the best technology, I aquired an apple ibook.

We all know that MD/HiMD just isn't compatible with an Apple and frankly my old pc is just that...too old and I am growing impatient with the errors in sonicstage.

Everyone says, just get an Ipod...well, I just don't like the fact that I have to change my battery by sending it back to apple, or that once dead, my music collection is gone with it. (not much of a collection in my mind if it can be lost just like that).

To the point of the matter, I was wondering if any user out there had beatjam 2005 as it is the same software that the Buffalo HiMD uses (and its compatible with macs. )

I've tried buffalos site and they only offer up the Windows version of their software.

So, if anyone can help me and the many other mac at home users out, I'm very sure it would be much appreciated!

I have tried the latest BeatJam and it's no different than SonicStage 3.2. BeatJam employs the same OpenMG Secure Module as SonicStage 3.2. In addition, I don't think BeatJam for BUFFALO is compatible with MacOSX; officially, the BUFFALO MD-HUSB device is only compatible with MacOSX as a removable data drive. But there's a work around to use SonicStage 3.2/BeatJam with a MacOSX; run a search within the forum for further instructions.

*thread moved to "Software" section.
