civ247
Hi i have an Mz-Nh600. It worked fine for ages untill the sound went. For about a day i was able to get sound back by pushing the headphone plug to one side. I assumed it was just a bad connection that would be easy to fix.I took it to some certified sony electrician who said he could fix it for €50 but that it was not a bad connection but something more complicated.I dont have the receipt anymore so i cant take it back to where i purchased it.Is it common to lose sound like this? Would sony fix the md even though i have no receipt(I only bought it about 3 months ago)Cheers
KrazyIvan
It depends on how you treat the headphone jack. It does sound like some solder points broke. Don't know why the tech would say it is mor ecomplicated than that. Maybe he is just trained to replace the whole mainboard or something like that.
