Noise when upload md->PC with line and usb

Hello,

first, excuse me but it's very difficult for me to speak or write in english. I'm sorry.

My problem :

I like to play music, and i like to record the music i played.

I record my music with a microphone plug to my MD recorder (sony mz n707 net MD).

And after, i like to move the songs i recorded from the minidisc to the computer.

2 solutions :

1) i connect the md phone out to the souncard line-in, and for each songs, i press the md play button and record soundcard line in withe an audio software like cooledit.

This solution take a long time for me, but the sound is good. I must just to normalyse the level. But no noise.

2) It's like the first solution Exept i don't press the MD playb button : I connect the MD to the PC with a USB cable an use the sony software or an other md software (winMd record each songs automatically when usb and line is connect).

I prefere this solution, but the sound is bad : there is a big noise (no very big but more than the first solution)

Do you now this problem? I try to change the USB cable, but the problem stay.

Anyway, you may want to try using MarCNeT's Hi-MD Renderer as it now has NetMD uploading functionality like WinNMD. Otherwise you're bound to realtime.
