Hi guys i have a troubles, whit my NetMD MZ-N510, the problem is the door of netmd dont close, when i press the door close ok but, when i unprees the door open automatic.

anyone have guide to repair open mecanism??

I'm afraid that we don't do repairs. You may want to call Sony to determine if this is still under warranty. (Or the warranty company if you purchased an extension.) Unfortunately, it's an older model, so if it's not under warranty, it will probably cost more to repair it than to replace it.

Maybe the small metal "hook" in the middle of the top of the (fixed part of the) unit has become slightly bent.

I had this once with a similar player, and it was fairly easy to bend it (gently) back into position.

It is easier if you have another similar one to look at to compare it with though.

The metal of the hook is quite thin so you will have to be careful (that is presumably why they are easily bent out of position).

I could post a photograph if necessary.
