xequence
I have MP3 File manager on my NW-E107. When I go into it and click it, it comes up saying "An error occured while loading a critical library. MP3 File Manager will not work properly. If this problem persists, please reinstall MP3 File Manager". I click OK, and antoher popup comes up "Access Device Error". I click OK and it comes up but doesent show any music on my MP3 player.I try reinstalling it and the exact same thing comes up. I would never even dream of using sonicstage, the horrible beast, but I decided to install that and see what happened. I get my CD and start the install - it stops after 40% and says installation has been terminated. It happens many times, with the version from my CD and the newest version downloaded off their website. Even after a clean new installation of windows 2000.I have had many many many problems with sony MP3 players in the past, I took one back to the store and they made me get another sony MP3 player to replace it. I told them it would just mess up again and I didnt trust sony, but with the lack of features on the network walkman there was really nothing else to get. (They base it on features of the MP3 Player when you get a new one).Any ideas what is wrong? I e-mailed support and they were no help, telling me to phone the phone support. I really dont want to do that as they will just tell me the basic things anyway - "Install it again" or something like that.I have Windows 2000 Professional, with service pack 4.
