MDKWEB
I have a MZ-R900, and I'd like to know if there's any good advice for simple mp3 to pc recording. I don't like to sit around and wait for the track to change, so I can press the button, so is there some way that I can just have it record the tracks itself from the computer?I am, by the way, a confessed total MD noob. A440
Ah, the MZ-R900: still the most elegant looking MD unit ever. I'm not sure what you mean by "mp3 to PC recording"--the mp3s are in your PC, aren't they? For recording tracks in your PC onto the MD, look through the REC-SET menus and see if there is Sync Recording. Sync Recording, if it's on that model, adds a track mark when it detects silence of certain length--not sure if it's 1 second or 2 seconds. If you have Sync Recording, and you set it to ON, you could put a playlist of mp3s in something like Winamp, play them to be recorded into Line-in, and get track marks for them. MDKWEB
thank you. I remember sync being a little titchy, but I'll live.
