vandons
I want to get a good machine for doing field recording to use in audio installations and music. What is the difference between these two machines? Is the MD-M100 worth the extra $100?

bobt
If you don't jave a mac, just get a normal Hi-MD with a decent mic and you will be happy. Merry Christmas,Bob,PSthe 100 is basicaly a RH10, and the 10 is a 910, if you want sexy get the oled, if not the 910 is fine
e1ghtyf1ve
Hey vandons welcome! The M100's display works best in dark indoor or night settings, the M10's in bright daylight. The M100 comes with a larger capacity battery. That's it. Unless you need OS X compatibility, I would stick with the cheaper RH10/910 clones and get my own mics, as bobt suggested.Cheers
