Check your preferences, CD ripping settings for more information.
PowerShot
The ripped cd is on an extern hardisc. So I told Connect Player in preference to store the ripped cd there. Are there no need to backup, or take a copy of "C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation\CONNECT Player\Library"?Or just take backup, or copy "C:\Document and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Sony Corporation"? Simply install the player on your clean XP, re-scan or import your files, and everything should return to normal. If you feel overly cautious, you could backup that whole Sony Corporation directory, but I don't think you'll need it.
