Is it possible to connect a external device to the USB port?

Can you professors guys tell me wether it is possible to make devices sush as infra red, wifi, bluetooth etc, so that it can be inserted on usb cable input of the minidisc player?

You'd need a USB OTG Bridge - but the device of that type I tried with my NH1 didn't work with it. A search of the forum should turn up some previous mentions.

If it doesn't work, it's possible that the port requires power to be supplied via USB for it to work given that the HiMD units (appear to?) run on USB power when connected to the computer. This doesn't mean older units from the NetMD family which did not use USB power wouldn't work, though.

I have no dongle let alone one with a miniUSB plug so I can't be more help than that.
