ThorStone
Hi!I made an interview with my sony Hi-MD MZ NH700 and importet the data in SonicStage. Then my computer needed to be reinstalled (Windows XP-home broke down...Thanks!) I saved the interview, that way, that I created an OpenMG-file with SonicStage. After my computerproblem was solved, I recognized that SonicStage was not willing to open/play this file. I got an information, telling me something about missing informations about rights and that this file is maybe not suportet by SonicStage. Does anybody know how to open this OMG-thing? I'm getting crazy here because these datas are very important for me... I would be very happy, if somebody could help me!Best greeting from Hamburg,ThorStone
A440
I'm very sorry to tell you this, but the new Windows installation makes SonicStage think it is on a different computer. You probably cannot decrypt those files. Try contacting Sony at http://esupport.sony.com , but don't hope for much help. Copying .omg files with Windows does not work. You have to use the Backup Tool in SonicStage to make backups that SonicStage will accept. If you still have the disc you can play it back using SonicStage and Total Recorder to record it in realtime. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?showtopic=6330
imak
Unfortunately, as A440 already stated, there's no known solution. We 're a lot of people with similar issues and locked .OMG or OMA files.Right now I have 135 tracks locked, analog recordings, and still hoping that there will be a solution.....Best wishes,Ioannis
A440
There may be hope if you didn't inadvertently add DRM. The new version of SonicStage, 3.4, may play back your files. Take a look at this thread. http://forums.minidisc.org/index.php?s=&sh...indpost&p=85968
