Guest bmn38
Hi everyone-I have had an MZ-RH10 for quite a while now with no problems, I use it for recording live acoustic music. Recently I was recording live and didn't have a spare disc, so I recorded right up to the end of the disc. As a result, I can no longer scroll through the tracks, and all group names and formatting have been lost (but tracks and track names are still there). I can only increment through the tracks one at a time using the arrow buttons. When I try to use the scroll wheel, the unit turns off. Clearly, the sound data wasn't lost, but the TOC was affected. When I deleted some tracks and tried to reset groups, the display and controls froze, but one track continued to play. Occasionally it will tell me "cannot play or record" or something, but I can get it back by ejecting and reinserting the disc. It is only this one disc that is affected (whew!). Here are my questions:1. Can I recover the group formatting? If it's a memory issue, I was thinking I could free up some space and reset groups...?2. Is this a common problem? How much empty space should I leave at the end of a disc to avoid this in the future? This has NOTHING to do with Sonic Stage, I've never used it.Thanks!
