Creaky NW-A3000 and CP/Windows ME Compatable?

Question

Hello,

Recently bought a spangly new A3000 but after a few minutes of fiddling I have noticed that there is a small gap, no larger than 1mm, between the upper casing and the rest at the base of the player. Absoultly no effect on this great player other than the fact that pressing the down and back buttons gives an incredibly annoying creak, is this common and enough for me to get a replacement? as i want my £180 to be well invested!

Secondly, the final word into whether installing CP on my windows ME machine will screw up my computer/work

Thanks guys and a happy new year!!

Doug

sir_surfalot,

Welcome To"AtracLife"

Connect is only compatible with Windows Xp (sp2) .You can use Sonic Stage ver3.3 on Windows Me As SSver 3.3 is also compatible with A3000 .

So sir_surfalot you've read my topic have you? What are you going to do about the creek that your NWA makes. Sounds exactly like the problem with my player. I totally agree with you on how annoying it is without hindering useage of the player. Im still waiting to hear from Amazon. It sounds like this creek problem could be more common than I thought. Thats 3 people including myself with it.
