jonmarcus
Just recently installed SS 3.4 and have also been reading Dex Okatu's very useful guide on recording and uploading to SS etc... One query I have relates to the following extract from that guide:PRE-CONVERSION AND BURNING HINTS TO EASE THE PROCESS:You can combine and split uploaded tracks in the SonicStage library, but only after deleting them from the original HiMD. Note that combining tracks recorded via Line-In will leave the afore-mentioned repeated sections in the combined recording. I am confused as I thought that with SS 3.3 onwards there is the option to leave tracks on the HiMD? Also with SS.3.4 it is possible to make multiple uploads. So if you need to combine or split tracks in the SS library does this mean that the ability to make further uploads then disappears on the basis that the tracks have been deleted from the HiMD? (i.e. there is nothing left on the HiMD to upload again?)
Roamer
Yes, you no longer need to erase the tracks to be able to combine them (That was the case with previous release). The best option now is actually to transfer the content as it is (without deleting / moving any tracks), leaving all tracks intact on the HiMD and then do all the editing on the PC. You can upload again if you need. When you're happy with your master, you might then reformat the HiMD for reuse.

I had not actually tested this with SS 3.3, and left it as it was [which is now incorrect].Thank you for the heads-up.
