skepneph
I have been recording with a MZ-RH910. I recently recorded a live music session (out of two mixers into input of MD). I heard the recording, but tried to track mark which is what I can only believe to be a disc that was already interfaced with Sonic Stage. All of my files became .hma files and I cannot convert them. This was a once in a lifetime performance and I need help to recover these. Can anyone advise?
Roamer
The recordings are stored inside DRMed .hma files, which is normal behaviour and they should not be touched. The latest release of SonicStage will let you upload the recordings as many times as you want. Can you actually play them on your RH910 ? The display on the RH-910 says" cannot play or record". I have saved these files on my hard drive as well. Will the new SonicStage convert them? A440
Have you tried connecting the unit to the PC and opening SonicStage? See what's in the Hi-MD window. Sometimes SS can still read the files on the disc. Then you can play them back, with SonicStage controlling the unit, and record them in realtime, either digitally with Total Recorder (records what comes through soundcard) or analog out of the headphone jack.
