Hey, I got the NW-A3000 (black) for Christmas and I installed the connect software and worked fine (installed in less than 10mins didn’t freeze etc) although it had some problems importing my mp3s say I had 500 mp3s only 400 would show up on the library (not exact numbers).
The weird thing was that they weren’t always the same songs that were missing (each time I imported the files again), for example I would get 420 out of 500 or even 380.
Has anyone else had this problem?
I then thought id sort all my music out so I deleted the old songs or repeated songs etc and made a partition on my hard drive for them. I then started the connect software deleted all the files from the library and used the scan drives feature thinking id be able to select the drive but instead it started scanning my primary partition (maybe both - I'm not sure) I left this running as I didn’t realise I could stop it (I didn’t see the option - ooops) so I left it running, I'm using my laptop as I forgot to plug the power cable in so half way through the laptop turned off...
When I turned it back on and tried to run the connect software it kept crashing (something about tinyhtpc - or something like that). So I re-installed the program and updated it and tried to import my music by using the import directory option but it would just say "scanning for media: 10 folders found...." then "importing files..." and then stop and not import anything. I thought it was because I was trying to import from the other partition but I cant import any music from anywhere.
So... what should I do? Is there a way to fix it? Or should I try out sonic stage?
