BonnutFilmStudio
Hi, I'm looking for a new AC adaptor for my Sharp MD-MS702. It's a 5 volt, which I hear was quite unique. I tried Radi Shack, they say they don't carry 5 volts and he had no idea where I could go for one. And I did look around ebay etc. they all go from 4.5 to 6 volt. My other options are to get the AA battery adaptor which I'd be interested in buying. I can't do trades as of now at least not of anything MD related. Or I can get a new LiO battery which is dead now. Can anyone help me out? If you have the AA adaptor or the AC please let me know: OverTheHillsAndFarAway@msn.com.Thanks
imkidd57
You don't need the power supply to be exactly 5V, as long as the current (mA) delivery capacity of the charger exceeds that of the Sharp MD recorder's demand specification (written somewhere on the unit, but I can't remember where). It would be important to buy a regulated, rather than a non-regulated supply.I've been using a generic (non-Sharp) regulated 500mA charger at 6V for years on my 702 and it works fine.New batteries: try Ebayhttp://search.ebay.com/search/search.dll?f...atitle=MD-MS702 Edited February 28, 2006 by imkidd57
